Our mission is to provide a warm, hospitable atmosphere for visitors to Maine's beautiful western mountain region

Welcome!
Claybrook Mountain Lodge has been providing quality outdoor experiences for guests since 1984.

Greg and Pat write:

Our specialty is helping guests enjoy the great outdoors year-round.  Right now enjoy the time when the air is beginning to warm the fields and woods and streams are awakening.  That special green color signals new life, and you'll witness extraordinary things as the world awakens once again!  And the spring peepers are busy creating their nightly symphony.

Throughout the year, we provide individualized experiences from  professionally guided hunting trips, to  picnics on the beach, to seminars on migrating birds, and much more!  This wonderful season of Spring is no exception.  Enjoy all that nature has to offer in a setting only a few are privileged to witness.

"If I could have my way, I’d welcome all the Maine springs I have left to me at Claybrook Lodge, encouraging the spotted salamanders and calling in the barred owls, this, of course, in the company of my favorite Birdman, old and new birding friends, all of us nurtured physically and spiritedly by Pat and Greg."
