From the Kitchen -- Modified American Plan
The quality of dining at Claybrook Mountain Lodge is well known.
The fare is old-fashioned New England cooking, and guests enjoy a range of tasty
possibilities, including Maine lobster, baked beans, delicious roasts, and
fresh vegetables. Mmm-mm, smell that bread, fresh from the oven! |
Pat
uses natural products, as many as possible--many of them from our own
garden. We use our own maple syrup, along with home-made jams and
pickles. The meals, including breads and desserts, are all made
right here in our own kitchen. |
We are happy to accommodate special needs with prior notice. Packing a lunch for
day-long outings or arranging a cookout is no trouble at all. The cookie jar is
always full and the coffee pot always on.
Enjoy our cozy dining room with it's old-fashioned wood cook stove. The old "Glenwood
E" keeps the chill off, the teakettle singing, and the muffins warm. |
